ADMISSION INTO MASTER PROGRAMMES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

The Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI), invites applications for admission into the following Master Degree Programmes for May intake window  from suitably qualifying candidate for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

The Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI) evening class sessions, May intake window is now open and qualified applicants can start applying to join. The studies will officially commence on 30^th May, 2022. Deadline for application is 20^th May, 2022

1. Master Degree in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport Management

Entry Requirements:

1. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor in Banking/Commerce, A holder of bachelor degree in Maritime Transport, Maritime Transport and Nautical Science, Nautical Science or Navigation with minimum GPA of 2.7 or
2. A holder of Advanced Diploma in Maritime Transport, Maritime Transport and Nautical Science, Nautical Science or Navigation with minimum GPA of 3.0.

Duration of the Course:

The duration of the course is two (2) academic years organized in four semesters.

2. Master Degree in International Trade and Maritime Law

Entry Requirements:

1. Applicants will be required to have a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor in Banking/Commerce, Finance, Shipping and Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain and Marine Engineering and Technology with minimum GPA 2.7; OR
2. A holder of Advanced Diploma in Maritime Transport/Marine Engineering GPA 3.0

Duration of the Course:

The duration of the course is two (2) academic years organized in four semesters

3. Master Degree In Marine Engineering Management

Entry Requirements:

Applicants will be required to have any bachelor of A Bachelor of Marine Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Offshore Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum GPA of 2.7  OR

A holder of Advanced Diploma in Marine Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or Electronics Engineering with Minimum GPA of  3.0

Duration of the Course:

The duration of the course is two (2) academic years organized in four semesters.

MODE OF APPLICATION:

1. Applicants are required to complete their applications Online by visiting Admission System https://osim.dmi.ac.tz/
2. Applicants to all of the above postgraduate programmes must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of TZS. 50,000/= (for local applicants) or USD 50 for foreign applicants.
3. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of relevant academic and non-academic certificates including birth certificate or National Identity
